Ravings of a Masked Maniac
While you were in Detox

3/10/08- Greetings Ham n’ eggers, I have returned for the first of many new
editions of W.Y. W.I.D.  That’s right, the one, and the only…. “Masked Maniac”!!!!

While I am sure you all have heard many rumors as to my whereabouts, I can
assure you everything you have heard regarding barn yard animals and wiffle
ball bats is purely a fallacy.

That being said I am back to do a job, and that is to bring all the latest news
regarding your favorite scenario paintball team to all of you deprived losers in
cyber space.

While the temporary restraining order that the team filed against me has yet to
expire I managed to sneak into not one, but two paintball fields this weekend to
do some serious broadcast journalism.

My first stop was very familiar Upton, Ma where a select few members of the
team toughed out some wet and windy weather to play in Fox 4’s first scenario
game of the season; Ice Station Zebra.  Their was hardly anything icy about this
contest as unseasonably warm temperatures turned what surely would have
been a game canceling blizzard into wind swept monsoon.  Siding with filthy
pinko commy doo doo heads was our very own Steeel Reserve who used their
fire power to bull doze their way to a one sided victory.  In typical SR fashion the
hardest battle of the day was the internal struggle to pick a bar to go to after the
game.

After a power nap and some hair of the dog, I was back on the road Sunday
morning.  This time I was in Ludlow Ma, at Air Sports paintball for the battle of
Bunker Hill.  Some of the highlights included gun trouble; ball breaks and the
creepy sweat pant wearing butt head Wally falling on his head.  It was so cold
while I was sitting in that tree I froze to it.  In the end Steeel Reserve won their
share of battles including the famous final battle of center flag attack and
defend where members of the British side took the center flag and successfully
defended it for forty minuets.  The one and only Cowboy and Dave Sr. were the
last men standing, or at least the two not cowering in the building sitting on the
flag.

All in all it was a successful weekend for the boys, it saw the return of some old
school hijinx and shenanigans and crisp play for the early stages of the season.
Only one can guess the insanity that is to follow, I for one don’t want to know.
BUT nonetheless I will press on to bring you all the most comprehensive
coverage of Steeel Reserve Paintball from the far ends of
every scenario paintball field to the lovely confines of Steeel Reserve
Headquarters located 632 stories below the earths surface in the worlds most
luxurious sanatorium.

Until next time….. get drunk and be somebody!
